Day 5
Querétaro – San Miguel de Allende – Guanajuato : Breakfast at hotel. We will travel to San Miguel de Allende, great historic city of civil and religious architecture of the colonial era, home also to the Instituto Allende, the Gothic church, unique in Mexico and stroll along its streets, alleys and its many shops. In the afternoon we will transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight lodging in Guanajuato.
Day 6
Guanajuato : One of the most spectacular cities in the colonial mining and international headquarters of the Cervantes Festival. After breakfast, stroll through its immemorial underground streets, plazas, churches and theaters. Visit to the parish of Our Lady of Guanajuato, the Temple and the mine of Valenciana and the Church of Villaseca, well venerated and visited. Visit one of its mines and the cemetery of mummies. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 7
Guanajuato – San Juan de Los Lagos – Leon : Pass through Silao pass next to Mount Cubilete carrying on its top a stunning sculpture of Christ the King which is placed in the geographical center of the country. Continue to one of the most stunning, famous and picturesque places in Mexico, San Juan de los Lagos where is the second most important sanctuary of Mexico to venerate the miraculous image of the Virgin of San Juan de los Lagos. Here meets the fervor of thousands of pilgrims who visit daily. After prayer, attend mass and worship the Virgin, we will travel to Leon. Dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 8
Leon – Mexico City : Transfer to Mexico City´s airport to our flight back home. End of our journey.

GUADALUPEAN PILGRIMAGE TO MEXICO
Day 1
Mexico City (Tlatelolco / religious complex of Tepeyac / Teotihuacan / Tulpetlac) : Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the Three Cultures Square and the Church of Santiago at Tlatelolco. Panoramic visit to the archaeological site. Being one of the most important goals of our pilgrimage, we will continue to the complex of the Basilica of Guadalupe where we will take time to pray, venerate and admire it. Visit the interior of the new Basilica, the ancient Indian Chapel and the Chapel of the Cerrito del Pocito. In the afternoon we will visit Tulpetlac, where the Indian Juan Diego lived, and the former convent of San Agustin de Acolman, an architectural gem dating back to the sixteenth century. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 2
Mexico City : Breakfast at hotel. In the morning tour of Mexico City through its modern and ancient streets. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Plaza de Santo Domingo and its church built by the Dominican order in 1576, and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary. Panoramic view of the National Palace, the Temple built by the Aztecs in 1319, the Church of San Francisco, the Jesuit church of La Profesa (Oratory of St. Philip Neri) and the Temple of San Hipolito. We will walk around the modern Zona Rosa, Polanco and Chapultepec, Insurgentes Avenue until we reach the Church of Carmen, the Convent in San Angelo, San Jacinto Plaza and the Chimalistac colonial quarter. Then visit the Convent and Parish of St. Bernardino of Siena. We will end our day touring the XVI century suburb of Coyoacán through the Francisco Sosa Avenue to visit the Temple of St. John the Baptist where we will be able to appreciate its stunning paintings and pray before the Blessed Sacrament which is always exposed. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 3
San Miguel Del Milagro – Cacaxtla – Tlaxcala : After breakfast, we will continue on to San Miguel del Milagro, with the appearance of the Archangel Michael, and will visit the grotto, the well of miraculous waters and its collection of votive offerings. Visit the archaeological sites of Cacaxtla and Xochitecatl. Continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotlan in Tlaxcala, famous for its apparition to Juan Bernardino in 1541 that was set out in a tree. Dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 4
Tepotzotlan – Querétaro : Departure for Tepotzotlan to visit this picturesque village and see the famous temple of San Francisco Javier, nestled in this magnificent monastery. Also visit the most important museum of religious art that exists in Mexico. En route, we will visit Tepotzotlan Cuautitlán and its chapel which was built at Juan Diego´s birthplace. We continue to San Juan del Río where we see the "Parish of St. John the Baptist". Then continue to Queretaro, considered one of the most beautiful colonial cities of America will visit the Convent of Santa Rosa and Santa Clara and the Convent of the Cross, where “The Tree of the Cross" is. Sightseeing tour of the aqueduct, its squares, its houses, its historic center and its beautiful churches, its alleys, its history and its beauty. Dinner and overnight lodging.
