Day 6
Cologne (Köln) – Werle – Amsterdam : Breakfast at hotel. In the morning depart to Werle. This city was a member of the Hanseatic League during the Middle Ages and remained within the orbit of Catholicism even after the Reformation. In 1661 a revered statue of the Virgin Mary rose, now kept in the church known as Wallfahrtsbasilika which is under the administration of the Franciscans, and who are in charge of caring for the pilgrims who come to the temple. Thanks to this, Werle is considered the third most important Catholic pilgrimage destination in Germany. After crossing the border between the Netherlands and Germany, we will continue to Amsterdam. Dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 7
Amsterdam / Return to Home : Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Amsterdam airport to take our flight back home depending on the itinerary proposed by the agency.

PILGRIMAGE TO GERMANY
Christianity has been Germany´s main religion since before the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 d. C. Currently 53 million Germans (63.9% of the population) consider themselves Christians, of whom 49.2% are Roman Catholic.
Day 1
Munich: We will visit some places of interest like the Hofbräuhaus and Frauenkirsche. Dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 2
Munich – Altötting – Marktl – Munich : Breakfast at hotel. Depart for the small town of Altötting to visit the Black Madonna. Then in the afternoon depart for Marktl, city where Pope Benedict XIV was born and the Basilica of Santa Ana. Return to Munich for dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 3
Munich – Nürnberg – Heroldsbach – Schönstadt – Frankfurt am Main: Breakfast at hotel. In the morning to the city of Nürnberg where we will visit some places of interest [Nürnberg Castle, the medieval church of Frauenkirsche, Lunar Clock at Hauptmarkt, Elizabeth Church, Das Haus der katholischen Stadtkirche (House of the Catholic Church of the city )]. At noon visit the Heroldsbach, place where there have been several sightings of the Virgin. Then depart for Schönstadt to visit the Chapel of Our Lady of Schönstadt. At the end of the day we depart to Frankfurt for the night. Dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 4
Frankfurt am Main – Trier (Trier): Breakfast at the hotel. We´ll travel west to the romantic and picturesque valley of the Moselle River to reach Bernkastel-Kues, birthplace of Nikolaus von Kues, famous German philosopher and religious man of medieval times. Visit the Gothic chapel of St. Nicholas, house where his heart is buried. Later we drive to Trier where we will visit the Church of Our Beloved Lady (Liebfrauenkirsche) and the Cathedral of Trier where the Holy Tunic of Christ (Der Heilige Rock) which is guarded in a special reliquary in a cathedral behind the main altar. Dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 5
Trier (Trier) – Cologne (Köln) : Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit to the city of Cologne to the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) dedicated to Maria and St. Peter (St. Peter und Domkirche Hohe Maria), the relics and the sarcophagus with the remains of the three Kings (Dreikönigsschreinand), the largest reliquary in the Western world. Also we will visit the Church of the Great St. Martin (Groß Sankt Martin) and the Church of St. Andrew where the remains of St. Albert the Great,
